Tonight we speak with Alderwoman Bernetta Lanier representing District 1 of Savannah as she shares her families history in Savannah, her upbringing and academic training studying Political Science and Pre Law at South Carolina State and Public Administration and Organizational Structure at Savannah State University.
As well as her work as Neighborhood Association President and Founder of the
Ivory Bay Community Development Corporation
.She speaks candidly about her work with the City Council and concerns for lack of planning for West Savannah including her work with the "Weeping Time" site.
Hello Neighbor Sav will also be cohosting a live BBQ fundraiser for the Weeping Time Historical Survey fund Saturday April 24, from 11 - 4 pm at Solomon Temple COGIC at 2005 August Ave.
