Rest in God

Good day, good people! God wants us to rest in him through prayer and with the shield of faith. We should all rest physically and take time for ourselves, but as you rest in the flesh also take out the time to rest in spirit. God will make a way!

Scripture of the day- Hebrews 11:1-  Now afaith is the bsubstance of things choped for, the devidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders aobtained a good breport. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were aframed by the bword of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Safe and Secure

Adapted from the resource Quiet Times with God - by Joyce Meyer

It is the will of God for His children to be secure and not to live in fear. We were created to feel safe, secure, confident, and bold; it’s part of our spiritual DNA as born-again believers in Christ Jesus. But the key to living a secure life is knowing who you are in Christ, really receiving God’s love for you, and basing your worth and value on who God says you are, not what you do.

According to Isaiah 54:17, part of our inheritance from God is security. We can be safe and secure in the knowledge that God’s love for us is unconditional and unceasing. Always remember that you are more than your job, your education level, or even your talents and abilities. You are God’s very own; you belong to Him, and He loves you unconditionally. You can have a life of peace, joy, and true security because God is on your side.

Prayer Starter: Thank You for the wonderful truth that You love me. I cannot thank You enough for the perfect free gift of Your love. It’s all I need to carry on and press through, amen!
