Welcoming Miracles

Good day, good people! I woke this morning with my mind trying to wrap around things I can't control, but I then stopped entertaining those thoughts and allowed God to flash memories of things I have overcame and the miracles he has performed in my life.

Let's focus on the goodness of God and welcome him. When we welcome God and let go of things we can't control we welcome miracles! Cheers to miracles coming to you and your family!

Positive word of the day- miracles- an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs

a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency. ( a wonder)

Scripture of the day- James 2:14-17-  What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

There Is Always Hope

Adapted from the resource Quiet Times with God - by Joyce Meyer

It’s easy to look at your struggles in life and get discouraged. If you look only at your obstacles, it’s easy to lose hope. Maybe you’ve been diagnosed with a serious illness and feel you won’t recover. You might look at your bank account and feel hopeless. You may drive to work and think, There’s no hope for a promotion. And that is exactly what the devil wants you to do. He knows that if he can keep you hopeless, you cannot move on with bold faith, and you’ll miss God’s great plan for your life.

Resist the temptation to look at what you have lost or don’t have—choose to look at all that God has done, is doing, and will do. When you do, hope will come alive, joy will increase, and your faith will grow. When you live in the garden of hope, something is always blooming. Instead of believing the lie that things are hopeless, choose to declare, “With God, there is always hope!”

Prayer Starter: Lord, help me to resist the temptation to look at what I’ve lost or don’t have but instead, keep focused on what You have already done in my life, amen.
