October 6, 2026: A Host Conversation About Stuff

A representation from the Southern Workers Alliance had to cancel due to issues at his work place, so hosts Holly, Opollo and Barbara engaged in conversation regarding a variety of issues and the upcoming election.

Voter registration ended on 10/5, and our conversation evolved about the issues and tried not to engage in partisan politics, which is not allowed by 501(c)3 organizations.

We expect to talk more about the upcoming election with a representative from the League of Women Voters on 10/13 and from the Southern Workers Assembly on 10/20.

Have you heard that the USA is planning a live-streamed execution?  What do you think?  I think VoR ought to have discussions on the War on Drugs, that fueled the pipeline to prison, and the USA carcel state that is more about punishment that restorative justice and rehabilitation.
