Another in my Candidate Conversations @ Savannah Lexicon series this morning! Republican Buddy Carter, U.S. House of Representatives incumbent for District 1 in the November 6 election, will join me in the WRUU studio Tuesday from 8 to 9 in the morning. With the better part of an hour to address the issues, Congressman Carter will have time to provide more information and context than is usually the case in media presentations. Topics of conversation will include oil and gas testing and drilling off the Georgia coast, healthcare options, minimum wage, "religious liberty" laws, privatization of federal duties, guns, and other major areas of concern. His Democratic opponent Lisa Ring will be on the Thursday, Nov. 1, show.
