Another special two-guest extravaganza on the Tuesday, December 18, Savannah Lexicon show from 8 to 9 in the morning! The first segment will feature Patt Gunn, Master Storyteller and Gullah Geechee slave re-enactor with Underground Tours of Savannah. Patt will fill us in on the Jubilee Freedom Day event commemorating the day when 225,000 U. S. Union Army Troops arrived in Savannah to enforce President Lincoln’s issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation.
During the second segment of the show, Jamie Credle, Director of the Davenport House Museum will tell us about the special evening candlelight holiday tours going on at the Davenport House, about the house's holiday atmosphere, and about the Davenport House's overall operation.
